easyLessons 1.3

easyLessons is a very complete flashcard creation tool. I haven't studied anything for a long time, but I remember how useful studying with flashcards was.

Now, you can do the same with computers, and this application is one of the best I have seen. It allows you to create flashcards and then study them. The application lets you flip cards and decide the order in which you want to see them (front or back first). You can create groups of flashcards and have the application present a lesson to you, in which you have to answer if it's correct or wrong. At the end of the lesson, the app will inform you how many right and wrong answers you got . The program can also track your responses over time, which can give you a better sense of how well you are acquiring knowledge.

A very interesting feature is that easyLessons can automatically define words and dates for you. It downloads data from Quizlet and can put it on the cards for you. For example, I wrote the date 1985 on the front of a card, and clicked on "Auto Define". A new window with different events and concepts came up. Some of those were: "Out of Africa" (a book) was released, Mikhail Gorbachev came to power in the USRR, and the Spanish words "Mil novecientos ochenta y cinco" which is the date written in Spanish. Double click on any of those events and they will be added to your card.

In short, this is a very nice app that can aid you in your studies. It is customizable and you'll be content to make use of it. Of course, it supports image and text cards.
