Disk Expert is an application designed for Mac users who wish to analyze the space usage on their hard drives, USB sticks, DVDs, and many others.
The utility can scan the contents of HDD volumes, CDs and DVDs, mounted DMG files, USB devices, and individual folders within your local drives. You won't see any progress bar when the app scans the selected drive or folder (the displays the largest files within the drive or folder while it scans it).
Once the scanning process is complete, this app displays the disk usage info as a nicely-drawn diagram. You also have access to a list containing the largest files found within the scanned drive or folder (the app gives you direct access to folder location of the found files and lets you send them to Trash in batches).
Personally, I was a bit disappointed by the fact that this app lacks an integrated duplicate finder which might prove to be of good use if you wish to reclaim space on your drives and organize your files.
To conclude, Disk Expert is a simple yet effective program that analyzes your drives and reveals accurate info regarding disk space usage. However, I'd suggest trying other applications if you need to find the duplicates within a drive as the aforementioned tool can only locate the largest files from a selected device.

It wasn't of any help to me. Slowed down my Mac sinisterly :(
This program is a part of Element 5 pushed via the Mac Store. I've bought it with a package and ran just the program to remove duplicate photo files. It worked well until I turned the computer off. Then it didn't work. I had to replace my system and lost everything on my hard disc. (Recovered thanks to Carbonite). The company did not stand by the product. No refund. They said I should have made a bootable disc first but that was nowhere in the instructions. Do not purchase. It may destroy your system!
