Coollector Movie Database is a program designed for Mac users to help them keep track of the films and TV shows they see, own or wish to watch in the future.
You need an Internet connection signal in order to use this utility on your computer. The built-in search tool helps you easily and immediately find the movie, actor/actress or TV series info you need. Also, you can import movies from your local directories and identify details regarding the directors, actors, release date, etc.
In addition, the app lets you keep track of the films you wish to watch sometime in the future and manage a list containing the movies you watched so far.
A disadvantage is the fact that the program occasionally runs slowly, especially when adding movies to your lists (Owned or Wished). Also, personally, I don't like the appearance of the app at all as its interface is unappealing.
In my opinion, you can find better solutions for keeping track of the movies you wish to watch or handle your own film collection. For example, you can avoid installing an additional app on your Mac and use the IMDB web service. Just create a personal account on the IMDB website and start managing your wishlist, watched inventory, etc.
