ClearDisk is a utility that helps you reclaim disk space on your Mac. With its help, you can immediately delete cache files, empty Trash, clear download data, remove unneeded language files that are being associated with your Mac applications.
The program features a user-friendly interface, lets you choose which type of data to look for (cache files, download data, etc.), and immediately completes any given task. What's more, it lets you know how much space you can reclaim by deleting the found unnecessary files.
In my testing, the application worked great. It quickly scanned my startup hard drive and revealed the needed information, without slowing down my Mac in the process.
However, ClearDisk is quite limited when it comes to the number of useful features it has to offer. Other third-party apps of this kind give you access to more cleaning options. For example, they offer you duplicate cleaners, tools to find and delete old files, etc.
Another important disadvantage is that the trial version of the program doesn't let you delete any of the selected files. You need to register the app in order to remove the files provided after the scanning process is complete.
To sum things up, I don't think it's worth buying this utility for your Mac. You can easily find better solutions that provide you with many features and come with affordable prices.
