Buddi is an easy-to-use personal finance management tool. The program has been designed as a tool for controlling your expenses, budgeting grand purchases, and generating reports on your expenses and net worth.

It's freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely for free.

The developer wanted to make an open source and user-friendly finance management tool and, in my mind, he/she succeeded. The program has a simple interface. There are only three buttons: for Accounts, Budgets, and Reports. Accounts lets you create your inflow and outflow of the capital. Budgets help you control your expenses and see how much money you have left. And Reports let you see the current state of your finances in a chart (pie-chart to be precise) and perhaps play with "what-if" scenarios.

The interface is quite simple, but figuring out how the program works can took some time. I've created a couple of accounts, and I wanted to see, how the reports would look like. My reports were coming up as a 0 dollar balance. There are many things I didn't understand off the bet, although I have a business degree. However, I guess, that if you are patient enough to read the manual and you want to save a couple of bugs by using free soft (donations are always welcomed, however), then this program might turn out to be right for you. There are video tutorials and explicit content on the developer's website. I guess they pay for the website through advertisement, so give them a hand and visit the site often to read the manual and watch the video.
