Avast Passwords is an application designed to help you store all of your account credentials and personal notes into one place. This program might prove to be of good use to those who are dealing with large amounts of email or social network accounts and are looking for a simple way to keep track of their correspondent credentials.
You can import account credentials that are being stored in other password managers or default web browsers. The application also features a built-in search tool to help you immediately find the account credentials you need.
All you need to do in order to add new contact info is to click the "+" button, enter the credentials, and save the details. An advantage is that the utility also provides you with a built-in password generator which might prove to be of good use when creating a new email or social networking accounts.
All of the stored details can be synced across one of your email accounts (for example, your Google account). You can also export credentials or notes to your local directories. Unfortunately, the app supports only one output format for this task: CSV.
Briefly, Avast Passwords provides you with a safe and simple solution for storing important notes and credentials in one place. It's effective, easy-to-use, and free. I can't find any reason why you shouldn't at least give it a try on your Mac.
