This Menu Bar application gives you access to the latest deals from the Mac App Store. You can sort the special offers according to your needs, display only the freeware programs, and get direct access to their Mac App Store homepages with just a few clicks.
The utility provides you with a list containing the newest Mac App Store offers. I like the fact that program also gives you access to an integrated search tool to help you easily find out if there are any deals for the apps you're interested in.
You can apply various filters to show only the free software deals or the best Mac App Store offers, enable the notifications if necessary, and configure the program to be launched as soon as you start up your Mac.
In the Watchlist panel you can select the programs you wish to monitor for deals. This utility will display notifications whenever one of your "watchlisted" apps gets discounted.
Unfortunately, the application crashed several times when I attempted to log in to my App Deal Whale account (within the Watchlist window).
Briefly, App Deal Whale is a simple and helpful program for Mac users who wish to keep an eye on the daily offers from the Mac App Store. The application sits quietly on your Menu Bar without using a large amount of CPU resources, automatically updates the deals list, and comes without a price tag.
