AKVIS Sketch is an image editor for Mac that enables you to turn portrait and landscape pictures into stunning artworks.

This application gives you access to a wide variety of painting presets and effects, brings dozens of output configurations, and provides you with quality results within moments.

After you select the input file from your local folders, you can choose the proper output profile and adjust the color settings accordingly. The program was designed for both novice and professional graphic designers as it provides two separate configurations panels: Express and Advanced.

A good aspect about working with AKVIS Sketch is that it allows you to preview the results and compare them with the original photos. By doing so, you can check if the selected painting profile matched your needs.

The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it supports only three output formats (JPEG, TIFF, and PNG) when it comes to batch processing.

To sum things up, AKVIS Sketch is an efficient and easy-to-use program that transforms photos into watercolor artworks and pencil sketches. I say it's worth trying this app as it provides you with numerous painting configurations and impressive output quality.
