AKVIS ArtSuite is intended to give your photographs an artistic flavor by adding frames and effects. The application supports working with multiple types of picture files, including PSD, CRW, RAW, DNG, KDC, PNG, BMP, JPG, and TIFF. What is more, it lets you process them in batches.

The tool has an easy-to-use interface, in which the working region is a central element. It is good that you can switch between the Before and After views to compare the results. Besides, the most common operations with files, such as importing, exporting and uploading, are done from the top bar. There is also a side panel, from where you should select the desired effect and adjust its parameters.

There is an extensive collection of frames to add to your pictures, and some of them are really original. It will not take much time to try a few frames, like Classic, Pattern and Strokes, to see which one you like best. Although you may keep the default configuration, you can also experiment with some tweaks, including model, width and texture. There are also some effect presets, which are equally configurable to your taste. Luckily, it is possible to save your customization options and create a new preset.

Once you have finished working on a photograph, it is possible to share the results in various ways. For instance, you can export them to various picture file formats, send them to printer or even upload them to various social networks.

To conclude, AKVIS ArtSuite has the main advantage of being easy to use and create decent results even if you do not have many artistic skills. Yet, it is definitely not very sophisticated if you compare it with the most popular tools of its type. The product is available in three versions: Home, Home Deluxe and Business. Moreover, it can be used as a standalone application or as a plugin of various suites.
