FileZilla Pro is intended to perform data transfers. As a client, it supports a long list of data transfer protocols, including FTP, FTPS, SFTP y WebDAV, which allows connecting to various Cloud services, such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Blackblaze B2 and Dropbox.

The tool has a convenient tabbed interface, which lets you work with various locations simultaneously. Besides, you can open two different directories thanks to its two-pane layout, which favors comparing their contents. For instance, you can browse a local folder on the left and the remote directory on the right. Thus, transferring data can be as simple as dragging the desired files or folders and dropping them to the other directory. Moreover, it integrates with Finder supporting drag-and-drop operations between the two apps. Luckily, FileZilla Pro comes with a powerful search feature, allowing the use of various terms and conditions. It is a shame, however, that the interface feels somewhat cluttered.

Good news is that the tool prevents data losses due to connection problems. In this regard, in case the connection is discontinued for whatever reasons, the application can wait until it is restored to continue transferring the rest of the data. Likewise, transfers are conveniently logged. In this respect, you can consult any information related to current transfers at the bottom of the application’s window. This way, you can know about the progress of the transfer tasks as well as receive detailed information regarding speed, individual file transfer progress, etc. This is also the place where you can check for possible errors.

In terms of security, FileZilla Pro allows taking advantage of the benefits of secure protocols, such as FTPS and SFTP. This means that the data is transferred in encrypted form as well as protected by passwords.

All in all, FileZilla Pro can be a solution for transferring data reliably and securely. Since it supports multiple protocols and services, you may want to take a look at it. Regrettably, the application has been reported to crash, although only occasionally. There is a free version of the product; however, to enable all the features, you need to acquire the full license via in-app purchases.
