Activity Timer is a simple to handle Menu Bar application that helps you keep track of the amount of time you have left until a certain deadline. This program comes in handy especially to freelancers or office workers as it offers them a solution on days with busy schedules.
The app allows you to create your own time presets by choosing the amount of minutes left up to the due moment for a task, and entering a description for the reminder. After that, you can click the Start button from the tool's main menu and commence your work.
A good thing about Activity Timer is that it sits quietly on your Menu Bar and uses a small amount of CPU resources.
Once the timer shows 00:00, the app plays a sound and displays the reminder's description under the Menu Bar. Personally, I would have liked the tool more if there was an option to use one of my sound files as an alarm once the time's off.
However, the application does exactly what the developer describes on the homepage of Activity Timer. This program lets you set timers with minimum effort, brings simple to configure settings, and comes with no price tag.
