4k Stogram provides you with a quick and easy way to batch download pictures and videos that were posted on the Instagram service.

It might prove to be of good use if you need to immediately back up your Instagram photos and clips to your local directories.

All you need to do in order to use use this program is to enter your account credentials in the Preferences panel of the app. Afterwards, enter your account name in the search field from the main window and the utility will immediately start downloading the content.

You can also fetch pictures and clips posted by other Instagram users as long as their account aren't private. You don't need to log in to your Instagram account to download data shared by public Instagram users.

The only thing that bothers me is that you cannot choose which photos and videos to be downloaded to your Mac. The app automatically fetches all shared content from the selected Instagram account.

All in all, I think it's worth installing this utility on your Mac only if you're looking for an easy Instagram content backup solution.
