4k Stogram is a Mac program that enables you to download Instagram photos and videos to your computer. The application might prove to be of good use if you're looking for a simple way to back up all of the images and videos you've posted on your Instagram account.
This utility features easy-to-configure download settings and a very intuitive interface. You can use the integrated search utility to find certain types of pictures or videos and download them all to your Mac, in batches. You can use the name of certain places, usernames or hashtags as keywords.
As soon as the app starts searching Instagram photos and videos, it automatically downloads them to your Mac. The fetched pictures and videos are saved as JPG and MP4 files. Unfortunately, the program doesn't provide you with the option to choose which of the images and videos from the search results list to be downloaded on your Mac. It automatically downloads all of the files from the results window.
Another thing that bothers me is that the utility occasionally runs slow. This usually happens after you type your keywords and hit the Enter key to start looking for Instagram photos and videos.
Still, it's worth giving this app a try if none of the aforementioned aspects mean nothing to you.
