2DOrNot2D is a simple program that helps you change the appearance of your Dock. The application is very simple to handle, applies the changes to Dock settings within moments, and uses an insignificant amount of CPU resources while it's running.
Personally, I don't find any use for this program as I'm happy with the way my Dock looks. Though, I guess there are some Mac users who are nostalgic about the old 2D Dock look found on 10.3 (Panther) and 10.4 (Tiger) OS X versions.
The application features only two options to enable 2D or 3D Dock mode (the program restarts your Dock app when enabling the aforementioned options). I like the fact that the utility takes a very short amount of time to apply the Dock changes.
Other than that, not much more can be said about this Mac application as it simply and efficiently does what's being stated on the homepage of the developer.
To summarize, 2DOrNot2D is an easy-to-use program that comes without a price tag and is compatible with many OS X versions.
