Water Bugs is a game in which you try to fill the screen with plumbing pipes to prevent cosmic bugs from destroying your land. To fill the screen, you will have to make horizontal or vertical lines using a gun (by pressing the mouse buttons). When you shoot, two lines will extend from your gun, and when these reach the borders of the board, a pipe is created. Sometimes you will have to make two lines to create a pipe between them. The fewer shots you fire, the more points you will get.
You will have to be careful when building the plumbing, because if the bugs touch the line while the pipe is being built, you will lose a life. The bugs will move from one side to the other, so you will have to predict their moves. However, as the game progresses, there will be more and more bugs, and they will move faster.
There are lots of power-ups that you can get to make your job easier, and there are also three power-downs that you must avoid. The faster you complete the levels, the more bonus points you will get. The game features simple but nice graphics, simple sounds and nice but repetitive music. In short, Water Bugs is a different game that deserves a try.
