A VPN client for browsing the Internet anonymously.

VPN Plus helps you preserve your online privacy by hiding your real IP. Moreover, it lets you access geo-restricted contents and bypass local rules.

The application is actually a client that allows establishing an encrypted connection between your machine and the Internet. Like many other similar clients, it has a very straightforward interface. In fact, you can get connected by simply pushing a button. In addition, you may also want to pick the desired country.

Probably the main advantage of VPN Plus is that it is absolutely free. But more than just that, it does not require providing any personal information such as a name or email address. There is not much information as to the service provider, although it seems to be powered by TigerVPN. As to security, the app supports various protocols, including UDP and TCP, which favor speed and security respectively. Unfortunately, it seems not to support additional security features, like split-tunneling or a killswitch.

In general, my experience with this VPN was average. In this respect, the connection speed was not particularly affected. Likewise, there were no interruptions in the service. Unluckily, picking a US-based server did not help access Netflix’s contents. To conclude, if you are looking for an extremely reliable VPN client, you should probably look elsewhere. Yet, if you intend to use it casually, its being totally free and anonymous makes VPN Plus a good candidate.
