As the app's name suggests, X-VPN is a virtual private network, designed for macOS, that hides the IP of a user, in order to facilitate its internet access on any location, and also to protect its identity.

As most of the vpn's, it has a friendly interface, with a simple main menu and a big button for opening or closing a connection. Some buttons are a bit clunky, though the app uses a low amount of system resources. Yet, it could've been nice to have a wide variety of skin colors.

When it comes to its functionalities, X-VPN has more that 8000 servers around the globe, provides unlimited bandwidth for all users, and comes with smart reconnect feature.

Furthermore, inviduals can replace their IP address with a public one, and includes special protocols that are able to bypass filters and firewalls so you can access Youtube, Spotify, or Netflix from any location.

Last but not least, users can choose from 9 types of security channels, while the app secures your internet data with a 256-bit encryption.

To summarize, X-VPN provides users the means to access restricted websites and to hide their identity. Yes, the full version requires payment, but it's a small price to pay for your online security.
