VipRiser is a virtual printer that you can use to create PDF files from any application that supports printing. Thus, it can be used not only to produce new documents but also as a way to convert other types of files to the PDF format. The application is extremely unobtrusive as it runs hidden in the Menu Bar.
By clicking on its icon, it is possible to configure the output location for the documents. Luckily, it supports standard locations as well as network folders and even the Cloud. Likewise, you can set the virtual printer to start automatically with the system. What is more, it is possible to use a given pattern to name the output files or activate the option of compressing images.
Using the tool is not too different from sending documents to a real printer. Just go to the application’s Print menu command and choose VipRiser as a printer.
