Township is a time management game where your objective is to build a town and manage it the best way possible. You can construct various types of buildings, honor townspeople's product orders, take care of a farm, send trains and airplanes full of goods, and so much more.
The game's graphics look nice and the sound effects and background music go perfectly with the storyline. You will get access to plenty of useful gameplay instructions, have the ability to connect with other Township players to exchange goods, and never worry about saving your progress as the program does it automatically for you.
Furthermore, the game brings you a wide variety of challenges, so, there's a small chance that you will get bored while playing Township. You will receive many types of bonuses as well. For example, you get extra bonuses if you play the game on a daily basis.
Sadly, the program comes with a couple of flaws. For starters, it might use a large amount of CPU resources when frontmost. In my testing, at one point, it used more than 50% of the available CPU resources. Another thing I don't like is that you cannot play the game while you're not connected to the Internet.
Furthermore, it occasionally displays connection errors, especially when launching the game. Still, this could also happen because of my Internet connection signal.
I've played this game for the last couple of years and each update gave me access to a lot of additional content (type of challenge, new area unlocked, etc.) and cool new features. So, I think it's definitely worth giving Township a try if you're into playing time management games on your spare time.
