2.0.1 (See all)

Time Sink is an application that can monitor what you do on your Mac. And it keeps a record of how much time you spend working in your applications. When you first start Time Sink, it will ask you whether you want to run it in Application mode or MenuBar Mode. Basically, the application mode shows a main window and a dock icon, but also a menubar icon. This is a great way to run the app if you don't mind the extra space taken by the dock icon and if you don't mind having an extra window opened. The MenuBar mode only shows a menubar icon that you can click to bring up the app. It is nice that the developers give you this option.

In the main window, Time Sink will show all the running applications and it will start a timer. The app can count both the time the app has been running and the time it has been running in the foreground, which is basically the time you have been using it. You can create activity reports at any time, and they look very good and are very detailed.

You could also use this as an application manager, but it lacks some of the features you'd need if you were serious about using it like that.

All in all, this is a great tool to keep track of how you spend your time when you are working on your Mac. It has a great design and it works well.
