TeamViewer is a utility that enables you to establish incoming and outgoing remote desktop connections from your Mac. This type of programs proves to be of good use to people working in IT support teams as well as to anyone who needs to easily connect to another computer for completing certain tasks, like configuring system settings, showing someone how to solve a simple problem, etc.
TeamViewer has been my go-to solution for getting access to my home PC while I was at work and vice versa and helped me complete plenty of tasks. The utility requires minimum user interaction in terms of configuring connection settings and you don't need to be a power-user to handle TeamViewer on your Mac. All of its settings are very simple to set up and the changes apply within moments.
Another important advantage is the fact that everything you do in TeamViewer remains completely private.
The only aspect that might bother some users would be its licensing prices. For personal use, the program comes without a price. However, if you require a Premium or Business license (editions which provide you with extra advantages), you might need to spend substantial amounts of money.
Still, TeamViewer remains one of the best remote computing tools I tested on my Mac so far. It's feature-rich, simple to configure, and works smoothly.
