SuperPhoto is a Mac utility that provides you with an easy and quick way to transform pictures into stunning works of art.

The application gives you access to many visual effects which help you give a new look to any picture within your Mac and from within your Instagram or Facebook account.

All visual effects are nicely organized into categories, such as Artistic, Patterns, Bokeh, 3D, etc. You can use the integrated search tool to immediately find the effect you're looking for. After you select the preferred visual effect and the image you wish to alter, the app gives you access to a brush-like tool which helps you select the picture area you need to modify. You can skip this step if you wish to apply the effect for the entire picture.

The app lets you export the final image to your local directories as a JPEG file. The picture has no watermarks from the developer and looks amazing.

A bad aspect is the fact that not all visual effects are available for free. You need to make an in-app purchase in order to have access to all effects and apply them to your pictures. Another disadvantage is that the program doesn't offer you support for batch processing.

In my opinion, you can find better solutions for altering your images. There are plenty of other Mac apps that give you access to many visual effects, support dozens of image formats, and come with fair prices or are free of charge.
