Strike Solitaire 2 is an application for Mac that combines two popular games: bowling and Solitare. The app feature dozens of challenging levels, brings a comprehensive help manual, and allows you to create multiple player profiles so that anyone using your Mac can play the missions without overwriting your saved games.
This program brings a colorful background and nicely-drawn animations, allows you to play the game in full-screen or windowed mode, and lets you adjust sound volume accordingly. You can choose between two game modes: Junior (you can replay any level) or Profis Club (you can replay the whole match only).
Similar to bowling game rules, a match consists of 10 rounds each with two chances of scoring points. On every round, your goal is to remove special cards (golden ones) from the board by matching the ones that have the same value.
If you can't find a possible card move, you can draw additional cards from the deck (from the bottom of the screen). Your final score is calculated based on the amount of golden cards you match before you run out of moves.
Another thing I noticed in my testing was the fact that the app lacks and Undo card move option. However, this aspect might not bother users like me who like a Solitaire game more if it's challenging.
As a conclusion, Strike Solitaire 2 is a fun and addictive card game.
