SplitBrowser is intended to help you browse various pages on a single window. The browser is based on WebKit, which is commonly used by other browsers for MacOS, such as Safari.
The application automatically divides the screen into four panes, which allows viewing different types of contents simultaneously, for instance, four web pages. It is good that panes can be resized and that full-screen mode is also allowed. Unfortunately, you cannot control the number of panes.
In my opinion, the worst part about this browser is that opening the desired resource on a given pane is too complicated. For this purpose, there is a tabbed dialog, which lets you enter the name of the site and its URL as well as the desired refresh rate for each pane. Another method, such as right-clicking on the pane, would be preferable, instead.
All in all, I am glad there is a browser which allows me to view different contents on your browser simultaneously without needing to switch tabs. However, my impression is that the tool still has a long way to go, mostly in terms of interface design. The product can be used for free but donations are encouraged.
