Spectacle is a Mac utility that helps you boost your productivity by offering you a simple and quick way to manage windows from your screen.

Before using this application you need to go to System Preferences (Mac's default system settings tool) and allow accessibility to Spectacle tool. Afterwards, you can use the program whenever you like. You can either select the preferred window setting from the app's menu or hit the correspondent global hotkeys. The shortcut keys are displayed on the app's menu and in its Preferences panel.

This utility is a little bit different from other window management tools I have installed on my Mac so far. Spectacle not only lets you rearrange and resize screens, but it also enables you to move windows on other monitors. In addition, the app allows you to increase or decrease the window size with just a few clicks or by using certain key combinations.

Another advantage is that it features option to disable the global hotkeys for an hour or for Finder.
