Reditr is a client that lets you surf Reddit away from your browser. It has many features that make it easier to manage subreddits and customize your content. One of the main features I like, while quite simple, is that you can see link content on the same page as comments. Having always visited Reddit in my browser, I've found it quite inconvenient that I have to view the image and then go back to click on comments - it's much more streamlined in Reditr. Another plus in Reditr for easy browsing is the ability to just hover over a link and the content pops up on the screen (if it's an article, you get a preview of the text). Even though I like this feature, in it also lies my main two complaints for this program. One being that when you're just scrolling through posts pictures keep popping up even if you don't want them to - I think this could be solved by a longer hover time before the content appears. The second being that the images don't reliably disappear when you take your mouse off the image. Most of the time it's fine, but now and then one sticks and the only way to get it away is to restart Reditr. This also sometimes happens when you use ''shift +'' command (the way to keep the popup on your screen even if you mouse off of it), which is most certainly useful but occasionally using ''shift +'' command again doesn't work to get the image away as it's supposed to. This seems to be only a bug, but happened frequently enough to me that I found it to be a definite downside. more
