ReadKit is a Mac utility that helps you keep track of the latest news. The program features a nicely-designed interface that even a beginner Mac user can handle, supports multiple feed services, and allows you to easily share your favorite articles via email or various social networking services.

You can log in to any of your feed service account (supported: Instapaper, Pocket, Readability, Pinboard, Delicious, Feedly, Fever, NewsBlur, Feedbin, and Feed Wrangler) or subscribe to a RSS feed with just a few clicks. The app lets you organize your feeds into groups, use the integrated search tool to find certain articles, and print news with ease.

An important advantage is the fact that you can read the articles like you'd normally do in your default browser. You can check related stories from the app's interface, post comments to an article you read, etc.

The application comes with several flaws. For starters, the program occasionally runs slow, especially when updating its news content. Furthermore, it doesn't feature an option to export your favorite articles. Another thing that's worth mentioning is that you can find cheaper solutions for keeping track of the latest news articles.

In conclusion, I think you should try a different RSS utility on your Mac.

  • You can share articles via email or various social network services
  • Lets you print articles
