Radium is a Mac utility that enables you to listen to your favorite radio stations directly from your desktop. The application comes with a nicely-designed interface, features an effective search tool, and provides you with information regarding the radio show or song that's currently streaming.
Its main window can be accessed from your Menu Bar or from your Dock. All you need to do is to use the integrated search utility to find the radio station you wish to listen to and click its name from the resulting list. The program gives you access to a wide range of radio stations from all over the world, so it's a small chance you won't be able to find the one you like.
Furthermore, you can add your favorite radio songs to a wishlist, configure the app to automatically disconnect from a radio station after not being active for an X period of time, adjust equalizer levels according to your needs, etc.
The only thing that bothers me is that the app doesn't offer you an option to keep a Favorites list where you can add the preferred radio stations.
Other than that, nothing bad can be said about this utility. It provides you with many useful features, lets you choose from a wide variety of radio stations, and comes with an affordable price.
