Private Internet Access

Private Internet Access 82.0

Protects your privacy while browsing the web by using VPN tunneling.

Private Internet Access is a popular solution for protecting your privacy while browsing the web. With its help, you can check websites or online services that are normally blocked in your country.
The utility lives on your Menu Bar from where you can connect to your Private Internet Access account and select the preferred server location. You also have access to various advanced security settings. For example, there's an option for disabling your Internet connection when the VPN disconnects from the selected server.

Another great thing about Private Internet Access is that you can preserve your anonymity even when paying for a subscription for its services. For example, you can pay monthly subscriptions with gift cards you purchased from Starbucks.

The only disadvantage is that the program doesn't let you connect to servers from specific cities. You can only choose the server from a certain country or US state. Still, this isn't a big issue, at least not for me. Personally, I'd work with programs like Private Internet Access to visit websites or use services that are normally blocked in my country.

In conclusion, Private Internet Access proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac utilities if you're the type of user who puts a high price on browsing security. It provides you with incredible services at low monthly or yearly rates, works 100%, and is very simple to handle.
