Posterist is a simple Mac program for creating and printing posters with minimum effort. The application gives you access to several quality project templates, various editing options, and a very intuitive interface.
You don't need much experience in graphic design to work with this utility. All output settings can easily be configured even by a beginner. Simply select the preferred project template, drag-and-drop your pictures over the poster, and click the Print or Export button.
Several things bothered me. For starters, I wasn't able to edit the text content from the project templates. Also, the program supports only 5 output formats (PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF, and BMP), and you need to pay to unlock all project templates.
Another disadvantage is that the application fails to import image folders when using the drag-and-drop method. The window that shows the already imported directories disappears as soon as you try to drag-and-drop a new folder.
Still, this program can be tested without paying a buck. It's worth installing and using it as long as you don't need it for creating a professional and custom poster.
