You can choose among three gameplay modes (Classic, Timed, and 30 Moves), use power-ups when it's necessary, and replay missions whenever you like.

The app lets you play only in windowed mode and enable or disable background music and sound effects. A good thing is that PopStar Holiday Fun communicates well with Mac's Game Center and keeps tracks of your achievements and highest scores.

Personally, I prefer playing the Classic mode as I'm not pressured by a countdown and I can take as much time as I need to complete the challenges. Also, if you don't reach your goal, the app lets you replay the last unlocked level; you just need to use the coins you receive after ending a mission to replay a challenge.

Another aspect I like is the fact that the app lets you resume gameplay if you accidentally quit PopStar Holiday Fun while playing.
