Pirate Solitaire 1.0

Pirate Solitaire is a card game designed for Macs that gives you access to more than 100 challenging missions, hence, it offers you numerous hours of gameplay.

This app features nice graphics with just the right background music, provides you with various hints, and lets you create multiple user profiles.

You start off with easy to complete levels where the app offers you various gameplay instructions (how to earn extra coins, complete challenge, etc.). The difficulty level varies from one mission to another, hence, you can never get bored of playing Pirate Solitaire.

You can customize the appearance of the card deck, adjust background music and sound effects volumes, and toggle windowed or fullscreen mode. Furthermore, the app allows you to replay missions when you're unhappy with your score and it automatically saves your progress.

Another thing I like about this game is that it allows you to acquire power-ups using the coins you collected during gameplay (you have access to the app's shop even during gameplay and you can immediately use the power-ups). You can also use real money to buy 10000, 25000 or 100000 coins (you can use the acquired coins to buy additional power-ups).

To summarize, I have to say that this app is one of my favorite Solitaire-like games I played so far on my Mac. The application is suitable for users of all ages, keeps you in front of your computer for hours with its challenging levels, and comes with a very reasonable price.
