Pear Note is a program designed for Mac users who require a simple way to manage their to-do lists, ideas, notes, etc.
The thing I like the most about this application is that it lets you include videos and audio files into your notes. You can tape sounds by using your microphone or record videos with your webcam and add the resulted files to the memo.
Pear Note also provides you with various text options (change font style, size, highlight, etc.), an integrated audio player, and a built-in help manual from where you can learn how to handle the program.
Furthermore, this program offers you two ways to share your notes with other users. It can either generate an HTML file holding the contents of your memo or it can export the text part of your memo as RTF or TXT file.
Taking into consideration the fact that this program is a lot more than a plain note taking app, I'd say it's definitely worth acquiring. But if you're looking for a simpler and cheaper utility to help you write and manage your memos or to-dos, I'd say you should try other tools.
