PDF-to-Word-Free 1.2

PDF-to-Word-Free is a simple program designed to help you convert PDF documents to formats compatible with Microsoft Word.

This type of Mac application comes in handy whenever you need to extract the text content from a PDF file with minimum effort.

The utility is very simple to handle, allows you to import as many PDFs as you want, and immediately converts the files to the selected output profile. Furthermore, you can preview the input files before converting them and choose between two output formats (DOC or DOCX).

Nevertheless, the application is one of the worst PDF converters I have tested so far. In my testing, the program failed to preserve the layout and quality of the input files, required an in-app purchase to be able to convert the entire PDFs, and didn't offer me an option to select individual output profiles during the batch converting.

Another feature missing in this tool is the option to select the page range for the conversion (comes in handy if you don't want to convert all pages from the PDF).

With that being said, I suppose, you can find better solutions for converting PDF files to DOC or DOCX format on your Mac computer.
