PDF to Text Super provides you with an easy solution to convert PDF documents into plain text. Once the text content is extracted, you can use it for further editing in other text-based environments.
The program comes with a straightforward and easy-to-use interface. It allows you to load one or multiple PDF files at once, which is very convenient for fast processing of several documents simultaneously. Another good feature refers to the ability to convert specific pages from a large document. In this respect, the tool gives you the possibility to determine the page range. The selection may consist of both consecutive and random pages. Most often, the selected pages are combined into one big text file. Still, if you prefer each page to be the subject of an individual text document, you can configure the program to do so. The page delimitation in the source file can be highlighted by means of text breaks that appear in the newly created document, or you can skip such breaks and get a continuous text.
As you can see, the program's features aren't very impressive, nor can they be found in such tools. Yet, what I like about this particular utility is its generous preview. It is large enough to read the text content quite clearly.
To sum up, the program works fine and converts files easily and quickly. However, it should be noted that, although it supports adding multiple files, you can't merge pages from different documents into a single text file. Furthermore, if several PDFs are imported, all of them will be converted – you don't have the possibility to select some of them and extract the text only from these files.
