PDF-Converter-Free allows you to extract the contents of PDF files and save them as editable documents. The array of supported output files is extensive, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, TXT, ePub, RTF, and image formats.

The program's interface is very simple and easy to use. You just need to load the files, either by browsing your computer from within the application or by dragging and dropping PDFs you already searched for in other windows.

Once the files are imported, you may select a supported language for more accurate text recognition, and then select the format you want to convert into. These are the only tasks you need to enable in order to complete the conversion, since no other additional settings or advanced options are provided.

Batch conversion is supported, yet merging multiple items into one large target document can't be performed. Selecting specific pages for conversion is also prohibited. In fact, you can only convert the first two pages of each source file, a limitation that the purchased edition of the tool doesn’t suffer from. You have the ability to preview the input files, but unfortunately you can't actually read the files content – the pages are displayed as rather small thumbnails that prevent you from viewing the text properly.

With a straightforward approach, PDF-Converter-Free provides an easy method to convert PDFs into popular documents that allow more or less specialized editing. The conversion process requires you to follow a few simple steps, which makes the program easy to use even by complete beginners.
