Path Finder is a utility that provides you with a wide variety of useful features and comes as an alternative to using Mac's default file manager. Unlike Mac's default file manager, this program offers you multi-tab support, gives you easy access to various view modes which are normally hidden from sight in Finder, and so much more.
The application features a straightforward, fully-customizable interface which can easily be handled even by a beginner Mac user. You can add or remove buttons from the main toolbar of the utility, switch between view modes by using shortcut keys, and quickly alter the appearance of the sidebar.
Besides providing you with multiple customization options, this program also gives you access to a wide range useful file management features. For example, you can reveal the hidden files from a directory by simply clicking the button next to the search bar, immediately copy file path to your clipboard, share documents directly from its main window, and so much more. All of its built-in utilities and functions can be found in the File and Command panels.
My only problem with the app is that it occasionally runs slow, especially when using the tools from the Command panel.
Still, this program proves to be a smarter and better alternative to using Mac's Finder app. It's simple to handle, offers you many useful advantages, and is affordable.
