To restore the sidebar in Path Finder to default, open Path Finder, go to "View" in the top menu, and select "Hide Sidebar". Then, go to "View" again and select "Show Sidebar". The sidebar should now be restored to its default settings.
The application does not allow you to view thumbnails to videos. If you select ICON view from the View icons, the files will be listed as icons with their default assigned system icon.
