Paradocks is basically the reincarnation of the Classic application launcher found on OS 9 and it does not replace the Dock but rather enhances some of its features. This utility creates a floating window in the menu bar containing the icons of all currently running applications.
In addition it also allows you to easily switch between applications by clicking the icons, giving you the opportunity to recall a popup menu with a keyboard shortcut.
