Pairs is a puzzle game for Mac users who wish to put their memory skills to the test while on a break from work. Your goal is to match all identical tiles from the board before you run out of time, and try to overcome the highest scores.
The app brings a straightforward interface and easy to configure game options, so any user would be able to handle it. You can choose from three levels of difficulty (Easy, Medium, and Hard) and select the proper tile display style.
I like the fact that the application allows you to use personal images as tile images. To do so, you need to click the + button, select My Pictures from the Tile Type menu, and load the folder which contains the necessary photos. Pairs supports various photo formats, such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc.
Unfortunately, I found some flaws while I was testing the game. The program doesn't let you save your game progress and adjust the size of the main window.
Nevertheless, Pairs is very simple to handle, offers various game options, and allows you to pause and resume gameplay whenever it's necessary. Furthermore, the application can be used for unlimited time, so you don't have to pay to use it.
