OX Drive is intended for storing and sharing data on the cloud. The tool is actually an extension of OX App Suite, which contains various collaboration tools. The shared files, which can be of any type, are available from other devices via the clients for their specific platforms. Likewise, they can be downloaded from within the OX App Suite as well.

The application is extremely easy to use thanks to its support of drag-and-drop operations. Likewise, there are wizards to help share contents with others. In this respect, the tool can generate links or invitations you can send your collaborators or friends. For more security, the links can be protected with a password as well as an expiration date. Moreover, if you install the Drive Finder extension, you can even share files and folders directly from your desktop. Similarly, it lets you share data on social networking sites, such as Twitter and Facebook.

Fortunately, the tool lets you keep updated versions of your files both on your computer and on the cloud. In this regard, it supports working offline and notifying you of any pending changes when you connect again. Since it is a part of OX App Suite, it is seamlessly integrated with OX Documents, which helps you preview and edit various types of documents effortlessly.

All in all, OX Drive is one of the options to consider if you are looking for a solution to store and share data on the cloud. Regrettably, there have been reports of incomplete synchronizations leading to data loss. The product can be downloaded from the Mac Store and also as a bundle of the OX App Suite. Fortunately, it is free but requires an OX App Suite Account.
