NICTA Named Entity Recogniser is a rule-based Named Entity Recogniser which extracts named entities from text such as Organisation, Location and Person names. It is written in Java. The NICTA NER project contains a number of subprojects implementing various functionality: NICTA NER library, NER web service.
This utility will correct many of the common cases of incorrect conversion.
