NetShade is an application that allows users to browse the Internet anonymously. It does this by using proxy servers as means of intermediating data transfer between your browser and the server you are visiting.

Whenever you visit a website, their server detects your IP address. By using a proxy server, your IP address remains hidden to the server, as it only sees the proxy.

With NetShade, users can choose between multiple proxy servers from all over the words. For each selected location, the application may first test the connectivity and provide the PING result, IP address and DNS details. The utility includes a proxy manager which allows you to add new servers and organize them comprehensively.

NetShade has a simple and elegant interface, making it quite straightforward to use. All you need to do is select a proxy server from one of the three built-in categories: Netshade, Public, User Proxies.

Program Preferences reveal a choice of interface style and color. You can change the default NetShade proxy port and startup behavior.
