NAP Scratchpad gives you seven text panels to write down quick notes. It's always available on your desktop, without getting in the way.
It's not intended for long term important stuff. It's an intermediary between the apps you're using all the time and other bigger apps to take notes. You can choose between 3 different color schemes for the note panel, and decide whether you want the app to stay on top of other windows.
