NameChanger is exactly what its name implies: a program that helps you rename documents on your computer. This type of utilities might come in handy if you wish to organize your photo collection by renaming all pictures according to the date or place you captured them.
All you need to do is import documents, select the preferred output profiles, and click the Rename button. Some of the renaming profiles feature additional output settings which are very simple to configure. You also have access to an image browser that lets you preview the input pictures before renaming them.
Furthermore, you can use this program to alter the names of any directories within your Mac. Just select the preferred renaming profile and the utility will do the rest, within moments and without slowing down your Mac.
My only issue with this program is that you cannot combine multiple output profiles. So, you can select a single file renaming profile per session.
Still, the application comes without a price tag, is very simple to use, and immediately offers you the results you need. I'd say it's worth giving it a try if the aforementioned flaw doesn't mean much to you.
