Myna for Google Translate is a Mac desktop application that provides real-time translations from more than 100 languages. In order to start using this app, you have to download it first and then complete its seamless installation process.
Then you'll get in contact with its user interface, which can be described as minimalistic. It is located in the top menu bar and includes a few menu options. The main interface is comprised of two-sided panels, left and right, that represent the translation area. The users can change various options from the Preferences menu, but they can't customize the program's appearance.
The features that Myna for Google Translate offers are rather basic, but they manage to improve the user experience. Users are able to translate any text they want, with a simple Copy&Paste operation. The last language used is automatically saved and users can utilize the Phrasebook in order to save the translation and reuse it.
The app supports over 20 keyboard shortcuts, Fullscreen and Split View, and includes PopClip and Safari extensions.
Overall, Myna for Google Translate is a simple Mac utility, but it is highly used nowadays when globalization is at its peak. At times, the Copy button stops working and there are moments when the translation is quite slow.
