MPFreaker can help you to automatically fill in the complete information for your media files. It is a great tool if you like your music organized, that is to have all the correct album art, titles, artists, lyrics written in that tags of your media files.

If you own an iDevice and would like it to display your media files correctly, then maybe you should think of using this 10 dollar program. You can set it up to scan a particular folder for your music files. All the recognized music will be displayed in the main window. In the file detail window below the main window for each file you can set up what type of information you want the program to overwrite in case it finds the correct title in its database. In short, the program will only update that information that you ask it to. One great feature is that it looks for lyrics for a particular song and adds it to the file's tag. So you get to see that lyrics on your ipod or other iDevice.

From my experience, the program works great, but its results can be unpredictable, however it does give you a warning of unpredictable results. A particular song needs to have so much information to be correctly identified in the program's database. The program does not search file name strings to help identify the song, only the information within the tag files is queued. Also, the program does not search by the music's signature, so songs without any information of their tags will not be identified.

Limitations in trial mode: only 3 songs can be converted during each start of the program. For lyrics to be added, you will need the correct artist, song title, and album information.
