You can create multiple accounts (for bank, loans, credit cards, investments, etc.), easily add transaction details, manage transfer info, and much more. In addition, this application provides you with accurate graphic representations of your account balance, expenses, net worth, etc.

I like that you can export stored data to files of various formats and sync finance details across your iPhone (you need to install the mobile version of Moneydance on your iPhone to do so). Another good aspect is that you can encrypt the info you store within Moneydance app so that no unauthorized user can access your financial records.

The one thing that's bothering me about this application is the fact that it lacks an integrated help guide. This feature might come in handy to beginner users who don't know exactly how to work with a personal finance program or it's their first time using this type of app.

To sum things up, I'd say it's worth installing this app on your Mac if you specifically need assistance in managing your finances (the app comes with a price tag and might seem expensive to people who are trying to save money). Moneydance provides you with various helpful features, generates accurate financial reports, and allows you to sync the stored data across your iPhone.
