Meteorologist 1.5

Meteorologist is a free and very customizable weather app. The application places a menu on the top menu bar of your Mac, where the time is.

When you add a city to the application, it will display its full name on the menu bar, which can take some space. It will display an icon showing the weather state and the temperature alongside its name. You can add as many cities as you want, and you can give them custom names. For example, you can add your grandma's city and name that entry "grandma's house", and that will be displayed on the menu bar. Only the first city on your list will be shown on the menu bar, the rest will be shown when you actually click on the menu.

If you only have one city, you will see three options in the menu when you click the city name on the menu bar: Weather for X (city name), Current conditions, and Extended Forecast. The first item opens weather.com on your web browser and shows the conditions of the city you chose. The current conditions menu shows you the temperature, humidity, dew point, feels like, wind speed, etc. And the Extended Forecast shows the weather conditions during the following three days. All of the information is shown in the form of menus, and they all are very snappy and responsive.
