Metaforce is a lightweight salesforce IDE that provides an elegant UI for salesforce development. It allows users to manage organization credentials without a password, create and update apex classes and visualforce pages, and retrieve and edit salesforce metadata (XML file). Metaforce also supports lightweight deployments to any org from sandbox to production.
